Today’s Coveted Working Looks

Some people will tell you that the cardigan is a necessary wardrobe staple. I couldn’t agree more. However I happen to gravitate more towards the jacket trend. I have about four cardigans and twelve jackets varying from season to season. A little excessive? Perhaps. But that didn’t make me not want to drool when coming across this gorgeous fringe-trimmed tweed blazer by St. John. How often do you come across a plum statement piece? Not very often. And this is in a gorgeous texture that can be worn by any age and would be the perfect accent piece to any all-black ensemble wearer, such as myself.

And this Nanette Lepore Colette Plaid Wool Jacket strongly declares that short-sleeved jackets are not seasonally restricted. This is a stunning fall piece that adds both comfort with the coloring and glamor with the back detailing. Not to mention it offers the perfect tween-seasonal warmth with the short sleeves as you’re not going to be dealing with being too warm with a bulky sweater blazer indoors and you can easily throw a jacket on over it when going outside. Bravo Nanette Lepore for working with the working woman!
