Today’s Coveted Working Looks
I’m sure you’re shocked to see another simple frock in my roundup of my daily coveted working looks. Well I’m predictable, however I do truly love this Rebecca Taylor dress for its great simple color, flattering cut, and fantastic shoulder and neckline detailing. And what I love the most about it, is its name – the ‘Desk to Date’ Dress. I’m glad we are on the same page, dear Rebecca Taylor!
I’ve always love the concept of the satchel, however I’ve never jumped to purchase one due to the fact that it was always just a little too masculine for my style. However this Heimstone Charlie Purse from retailer Je Ne Sais Quoi, has married the satchel and purse ingeniously! I can’t wait to sling this over my shoulder and make a strong working fashion statement!
I love it when we can see how to take one item of clothing and wear it several different ways. ShopChantal.com did just that with one of their many stellar lookbooks. I love how they showed this Rebecca Taylor Nailhead Cardi going from a stylish day of the office in a Shoshanna Belted Peplum Dress to a relaxed look for the weekend with a Kain Label V-Neck. It just goes to show that you don’t have to have one wardrobe for work and one for fun – you can have one entire wardrobe fore everything and work within your items. What a great way to save you both time, money, and sanity when you are getting dressed in the morning!
