Weekend Looks to Love for the Working Man and Woman

November 22nd, 2009 by Rachel | Print

Happy weekend to you all! I feel that these gorgeous fall days are going to be few and far between come a week from now. With that being said, I have spent most of this weekend breathing in the outdoors. I know there is a good percentage of the workforce that has to work on the weekends (and in fact I’m one of them as this blog proves). For you working weekenders, here are a few of my favorite ‘working weekend’ pieces that brings professionalism, style and ease to make any work during the weekend just that much more enjoyable.

For the cozy comfort in all of us, this boyfriend cardigan just makes me want to cozy up with my mug of tea and typewriter to write my novel. Hey, a girl can dream, right? On a more practical note, this piece is slimming enough to look very professionally put together with a skinny black patent belt and skinny black slacks and bright red shirt for a pop of color. Otherwise with skinny jeans, Ugg boots and a billowy scarf, you have just inserted yourself in the coffee shop scene with skill and style!

No, you working men, I have not forgotten about you! I absolutely love this cardigan not only because it can go with a white undershirt and jeans as easily as it does with this button-down and slack combination, but look how comfortable this model looks! Not only stylish, but shruggingly comfortable.
