Christian Louboutin Takes Advertising to Hollywood…Along With His New Boutique
Where are these images from?

Easy answer: Alfred Hitchcock’s famous thriller, Psycho.
INCORRECT.
Famous French shoe designer, Christian Louboutin has taken the art of advertising to a cinematic level. By creating a short film lasting approximately eight minutes entitled Psychologic, Louboutin has merged a sense of Psycho and Labyrinth with a touch of Willy Wonka into an advertisement for his new boutique in Hollywood.
Fashion model Elisa Sednaoui stars in the short film and perfects the Psycho fear of the shower scene (only instead of being stabbed by a knife, she suffers from the heel of a stiletto).

Granted there is no chocolate syrup in this scene – instead when she crawls away from the black and white hopelessness of the hotel bathroom, she is transported to a colorful wonderland full of – yes, you guessed it – a roomful of Christian Louboutin shoes. All is happy, all is colorful, and then she finds the “perfect pump”. Walking outside of the ivy-thronged iron gate, she comes face to face with her stiletto-weilding shower attacker. However, he unveils himself as Louboutin himself, and he lovingly bestows upon her the other pump to complete her perfect pair.

A very entertaining short, an ingenious form of advertisement, and we shall see if it leads to a successful campaign. Being Louboutin, however, I don’t think he’ll have to worry.
