Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. New York. Tory Burch Tweeds It Up With Her Fall 2010 Collection

February 19th, 2010 by Rachel | Print

We haven’t seen too much of the ‘tweed’ look in the collections for Fall 2010. Tory Burch, however, brought the classic to the forefront. There aren’t many dresses or skirt suits that beat the feminine prowess of those in tweed – it pretty much is equivalent to the male power suit – and albeit much more stylish. I also recently got into the recent trend of pairing the long-sleeved top with the boatneck dress, and it was fun to see a professional’s take on the ensemble. Trust me I was taking notes during the show – especially of the gloves to offset the dress to shirt balance.
